Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the hotel and hotelrooms. Should you wish to smoke please do so only on your terrace or balcony with the door closed. Unfortunately, we are forced to charge a 150 euro fine and any additional costs that arise from this if this rule is violated.

Bicycle parking
Bicycles can be parked behind the hotel. This parking is not locked but does have a security camera pointed at the cycles.

Late check-out
Late check-out is based on availability and a fee, for more information please contact our front office. In our suites it is not possible to obtain a late check-out.

Check-out time is 12 noon. We would liketo kindly ask you to check-out on time.

    Cycling and walking

    The best way to get to know the Noordoostpolder and its surroundings is by going for a cycle trip of go for a walk. Bike along vast fields, green forests and dikes along beautiful waters. Can you spot the birds of prey that fly around in the polder?

    At several locations in the Noordoostpolder you can find TOP points. These Touristic Orientation Points are points in which various cycle and walking routes come together. These spots also offer ample parkingplaces and often the possibility to buy something to eat or drink.

    Even though the Noordoostpolder is located in the youngest province of the Netherlands, it does have a rich history to discover.

    Also just outside the polder there is plenty to see; what about the fishing town Urk where you should should try some fish before leaving. Vibrant Lemmer, the gate to Friesland. Boats sail right through the center of the village. Historic places like Blokzijl and Vollenhove with it beautiful houses and quite possibly to most known village of our region: Holland-Venice Giethoorn

    The Noordoostpolder also offers plenty of fun for children.

    Indulge in the tropics at the Orchideeenhoeve! During this jungle experience you will feel like a true adventurer. Walk over a bridge made of ropes, discover the largest indoor butterfly garden of Europe and meet several times of little monkey that inhabit this place. In the play area the children can go wild on the slides or jump the water. Perhaps bring an extra set op clothes?

The hotel cannot be held liable for missing items from your room, meeting room or public spaces in the hotel. This also includes lockers.

The electricity in the room is 220V. Require an adapter? These can be bought at reception.
